Event: London to Paris Cycle 2018, 13 Sep 2018 to 16 Sep 2018
Total raised so far: £5456
In September, along with 250 other riders Matt and I will be taking on the Bloodwise London to Paris, over 4 epic days, in support of blood cancer research. Setting off from London, through the hills and hedgerows of northern France 500 kilometres later we will be cycling down the Champs-Elysees, in the peloton, past the Arc de Triompe before finishing at the Eiffel Tower….hopefully!!

Blood Cancer is the 5th most common cancer in the UK with more than 230,000 people living with the disease. Blood cancer is the 3rd biggest cancer killer.
Blood cancer is very personal to Matt and myself having lost Joanne (wife and mum) to Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML) in December 2007, aged just 42, after a long and hard fought battle against CML.
In celebrating Joanne’s life, we both wanted to do something special in her memory.
By sponsoring us both, you are helping Bloodwise with their world-class research, advancing our understanding of blood cancer and leading to improved treatments and increased survival rates.
As well as providing practical and emotional support to people living with blood cancer, the charity needs our continued support to fund talented scientists and over 180 pioneering research projects into all types of adult and childhood blood cancer.
We’d be extremely grateful for any donations and well wishes that you can give throughout our journey.
